Long COVID patients: If you have been diagnosed with Long COVID, our research team is interested in recruiting you to expand a research protocol that was developed at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and which has identified specific immune system biomarkers that have identified immune system deficiencies which may explain why you have remained symptomatic. It means that you would need to be available for a 15-minute interview, allow us to draw 1/2 ounce of blood, sign an informed consent, and complete a medical questionnaire.
Additionally, if you are detected to have these biomarkers, you would be eligible to enroll at no cost for a trial of a compound we have developed with the College of Pharmacy at the University of Illinois to boost immune system health. Laboratory research regarding this compound has found it to be highly effective.
